I wholeheartedly agree that being engaged in past times, whether creative or otherwise, helps to see you through changing times. And yes, they give you energy. They don't take energy away.
Very well said. It's amazing that some activities are completely draining whereas others (creative ones!) seem to make you feel more energized the more energy you exert into them. (I don't know if we have a chemistry equation for that phenomenon, haha!)
